Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
If a target is created by the operator, it should contain a label like
shoebill.badhouseplants.net/created-by: ${CONFIGMAP_SET}
I guess it's enough to have owner references atm
