Carl Hetherington df3eaf9188 Remove erroneous non-run of plugins when the transport is stopped

and plugins-stop-with-transport is true; this option is supposed
to mean the flush() is called on processors on transport stop, in
order to silence reverb tails etc.  Comment this and try to make
the GUI option name more helpful.  Should fix #4748.

Revert internals of the last layering-related commit, and go back a slightly-cleaned-up version of how it was before. Remove all layering modes; only option now is add-is-higher. Move-add-higher could easily be re-added if anyone uses it.

The installer will now create a link to the program in /usr/local/bin to allow starting from the command line. If the installer or uninstaller is not running as root, they will now attempt to use both sudo and su to get root access. This means double click install now works on systems that don't have sudo installed or configured.
